Love At Home Senior Care Raking Leaves for the Elderly
Love At Home Senior Care braved the cold weather to provide a much needed leaf raking service project to aid the elderly in our community. Working together with the Senior Action Network of Eastern Washington, a group of smiling volunteers met early Saturday morning(11/4/17) to receive assignments and fill up on warm beverages before heading out into the wintery conditions. We were able to clean up leaves at 15 homes. Some of the residents expressed their sincere gratitude for the work that was done, letting the volunteers know that they were unable to do it themselves. Many cold fingers and toes were felt along with warm hearts.
